Life Update!!

Its been a couple months and we have new faces! let me re-introduce myself!

A little introduction....

I am Reed Funk, I am the creator and writter for Little Jesus Journal. I started my blog at the age of 14 in March of 2020. Little Jesus Journal came at the perfect time in my life, it allowed me to share the gospel while also growing as a Christian. This blog has been such a blessing in so many ways and through many different seasons and has allowed me to discover my love for Christ as well as my love for writing. Sharing the gospel has always been something that makes my heart full and I hope that this blog continues to grow and helps flame a fire for many different generations. I am now 18 and over the years I have had the opprotunity to work with different Christians, bloggers and most recently have started working with Elevated Faith as an Ambassador.

Prayer for Little Jesus Journal.

My prayer for this blog is that it would reach people in whatever stage of life they are in. I pray that this blog would be able to bring people to Jesus and allow for little reminders of how much God wants a relationship with us and has a deep admiration for each and everyone of us.

Whats New?

Since we last talked; I graduated from highschool, spent most of my summer at camps coaching volleyball and talking about Jesus, and thats about it! The first couple months I struggled with quite a bit of stress, anxiety and change which is the main reason why I've been absent for the past couple months. For the past couple of weeks I have been desperate to start writing again!! I miss doing some of the things I love so much, so here we are!!

As mentioned, I am now a college student attending at Providence University College in the psychology program. I plan to move into the seminary in the next four years and become a counsellor soon after. Through this new season there have been many new experiences, new people and new types of essay formats im having to navigate but i love it. There have been many prayers answered through this new season, one being Christ centered friendships. One of the things I have prayed for lots this year is for healthy, female, Godly friendships; and i am so happy to say that this prayer has become a reality. I have met the most devine people at school and praise God every day for these friendships. Words can not express my awe for God in this stage of my life and I pray that I continue to search for him in every little thing.
